Anti-Mining Activists Murdered In Latin America

 

A number of anti-mining activists have been murdered as a result of their campaigns against the activities of Canadian mining companies. As debate concerning mining activities continues to divide families and communities, links have been drawn between Canadian companies such as Pacific Rim and Blackfire Exploration Ltd and the pervasive violence in countries such as Mexico and Guatemala.
