Traders failed in Copenhagen. The future lies in people’s hands

On December 19th, 2009 in Copenhagen, the climate of the summit was unfavorable to the tradesmen. The big governments of industrialized and industrializing countries, who have created an economic and environmental disaster, were put in a situation of incapacity and impotence in front of the adoption of the solutions looking at climate change.

One of doors-speakers of the movement of the farmers of Via Campesina, Josie Riffaud asserts that “Money and market solutions will not resolve the current crisis. We need a radical change in the way we produce and we consume and this is what was not discussed in Copenhagen”.  But as we know, the future lies in people’s hands.
